The problem with Project Management today is that the underlying systems of Project Management are setup to fail!

Project Managers are already coming from a pre-determined outcome - a preconditioned mindset. Rarely, if ever, do they come into a situation with an open mind - a mind open enough to actually see what's happening and what's needed. Rather, they are trained with such an expansive and complex system of project management that they come in just bursting with solutions ? regardless of the problem!

It takes a lot to be Project Manager. Responsibility for the project, responsibility for the team, responsibility for the client, managing and keeping project schedules, risk matrices, release plans, QA plans, scope matrices, 20 different methodologies to choose from, 39 processes within 5 "Knowledge Areas" each with 10 subsections (that's 390 subsections!). The list goes on and on. So much in fact, that one person cannot do it all. But more importantly, you won't be successful if one person does it all.

Another problem is that project managers do too much planning. And worse, planning in a system doomed to fail. There's an erroneous system of thought that in the complex world of software development, we can predict things ? things that are in fact unpredictable and un ?planable.

It's amazing that against these overly complex methodologies and these debilitating mindsets that any Project Manager can succeed. Well, we're out to change that.

With our systems, we've proven we can effortlessly produce results ? no matter the situation. No longer will project management feel like the toiling, oppressive administration is does now. It can be ? and already is ? joyful and effortless. Once a Project Manager learns how to lead the team by leveraging skills and inspiring responsibility and accountability, a shift occurs. The team "manages" themselves. And the Project Manager has time to focus on more important issues, like the project's primary goal. You'll see. We're out to Create a World that Works! We bring the enjoyment back to being software development professionals. We're restoring our profession from one that is accused of being wasted overhead and bureaucratic administration into a new profession that we will all enjoy and be proud of.

Through the Point Man Leadership System? project teams will feel:

- In control of their own destiny
- Pride in work well done
- Satisfied
- Confident that they set out to do something and accomplished it
- Powerful
- Enthusiastic and filled with possibility!!
